    I assume snozzle means the Bend/ La Pine/Redmond area as already noted. The Willamette Valley region (Portland, Salem, Albany, Coburg, Eugene) is a piece of cake to garden in. Born and raised in Salem, lived in Eugene and Portland too......

    I wish such a device was available too, but I don't think it exists. I have >1000 sq. ft. of raised beds and I rely on drip irrigation to deliver water. I will place a section of flexible 1/2" tubing down the center of the bed and then run emitters from that hose or by add 1/4" flexible hose...

    Instead of 4 x 4, I would do 2 X 8. Only because I find it hard to tend to a 4 x 4 bed for weeding, planting.....

    I have harvested over 10 lbs of summer squash and zucchini so far this season. Going to be a productive year!
