OHH!! I like this thread, hope we can keep it going!
For my kids, they each get their own plant to take care of, for my son (4) he has his own watermelon, and for my daughter (2) she has her own tomato plant because she is tomato crazy, I have to hide them from her in the house... :D
Last...
They are so stinking cute!! reminds me of when my girls were little! I have 4 and they are such a joy to have around. Hmmm.... Crossing with a nigerian, I'll have to remember that when I breed my girls. They are alpine, la mancha and 2 toggenburgs.
Ohhh... deep fried eggplant?? YUMMY!!! I will have to give that a try!
Thanks for the advice, how much deeper do you usually plant them? I'm just about to seperate my seedlings into individual pots, I was assuming that as with tomatoes I should plant them up to their first leaves?
Great story!!
I've used the peat pots, and they are ok, but I have always peeled the pot off before planting. This year I made newspaper pots and really like them so far! run a search on google for them if you're interested!
I bought a pack of seeds before trying the squash! no one in my house liked it! So I'd love to give the seeds to someone who enjoys spaghetti squash. Anyone? :D
Ok, Here is a pic of the tree, I'm waiting on dimensions of the window from my brother to give a better idea of the size... Does anyone have any advice? should I prune it first? If I need to prune it, what's the best way to go about it? THANKS!!! :D
I don't know, but I am planning on drying lots of zucchini this year, and am very interested! Have you tried pouring boiling water over them instead of cold? Then let them sit for the same amount of time?
Thanks!! That is VERY helpful! I haven't seen the tree, but my sis in law tells me it's just starting to get leaf buds. I'll get started on digging it's new home, how deep do you suppose I should dig the hole? If I can't find super thrive in my area, are there any other suggestions?
My Brother and Sister in law have an apple tree that they don't want... It was planted 5 years ago, by the prevoius owners of the house.
Does anyone have any tips on how I can safely transplant it to my property? I'd hate to go to all the work just to have it die on me...
Thanks!!
