Oh I love eggplant! my experience has been that it takes on the flavor of whatever you cook it with... My fave is to saute it in olive oil, with garlic, salt and potato cubes... YUMMY!!! :drool

The DH *loves* zucchini sauteed in olive oil, garlic salt, pepper, and french tarragon! I've served it a few times, and you either absolutely LOVE it or don't like it at all. Too bad I haven't been able to find any french tarragon for the last two years!!
Hi all, I started noticing that my cucumber plants are getting lots of holes in their leaves, and my tomato plants are getting munched on too... I was wondering if anyone had any home made sprays that they like to use to keep pests off? I'm short on cash, so I can't go buy anything right now...

I've put my garden close to the pond this year, We've had lots of frogs, toads and tree frogs around, I love it! It was just such a suprise! And he peed all over my foot when I was showing him to my 3 & 1 year olds! They thought that was the funniest part, aside from my yelping when I picked it...
So I made a potato cage out of fencing, planted a few yukon gold and then it started getting extremely hot... After a few weeks with no leaves popping up, I knew they had rotted. Today I decided to dig them out, I just used my hands because they were pretty shallow, I expected them to be slimy...

I am in the same boat Journey! I badly want goats for milking, The hubby just wants them for brush control... I'd love it if you share any insite you might gain from your expert friend and I am hoping some on here will share some more info too. There is a lady not far fro here...
Mmmm! I can't wait for goats milk! we are planning on getting a 4 this summer, so another year or so until we freshen... BUT I've heard that goat milk mozzarella is very difficult to make, so don't say nothing too exciting!!!
