Bean bugs/June bugs/Spawns of Satan.... whatever you call them!

They are attracted to light. I'm going to try the soapy water idea. FAR AWAY FROM MY GARDEN. Thank you!

How many Have One of These ?

I thought the platform was like a vice to attach it to a table, and you put the grapes in the funnel and turn the handle to push them through the little riveted thing.... almost like a meat grinder... I've never even heard of a raisin seeder though so I was just guessing... :idunno

    I Got Tomatillos!

Yes, Sir. I haven't seen any purple. Of course, I'm pretty new to Tomatillos unless they are already cooked into my food. I hoping to learn to do a lot more with them. We eat Mexican/Tex-Mex food A LOT (my husband has a lot of Mexican in his family, good food and great family just comes with the...

    I Got Tomatillos!

We have a Mexican restaurant nearby that makes a tomatillo sauce that I could have for an entire meal! You can also make salsa. I'm sure there's much more, that hopefully I can experiment with after these babies produce!

What floors me is that I rarely see grubs. And between my kids, dog, and chickens EVERYTHING gets dug up at one point or another!!!! Gotta be coming from those neighbors ... I will have to try the milky spore. Where would I get it?

Bean bugs/June bugs/Spawns of Satan.... whatever you call them!

We always called them June bugs (although down here they come out in April and May). They eat at night... and have completely destroyed my okra and melons. We've never had this big of a problem though. It's probably due to our very mild winter. :( My chickens absolutely love them, but coop up at...
