I just planted a few raspberry bushes, zone 5 and the instructions state check often and water till established.
How often should I water them, it is October and will be frosting soon. Any other tips for these new plants for the upcoming winter I should do? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the links baymule. The Mizzou extension does soil samples for $10.00 so I'll see about that too. I have a whole bunch of walnut trees to the north and they are doing fine!
Thanks Baymule! I do have other areas I can plant new trees, I really liked the location where these 2 were though. Sad, I had them 7 years until this happened. Thanks again! I'll bookmark that info!
I have 2, 7 year old pecan trees that came down with bunch disease. Is there a good nursery that I could buy disease resistant pecan trees from? And can I plant them in the same place as the diseased 2? I am in north central Missouri. Thanks!
I use the Nutra bullet and love it. I use kale or spinach as my base, add fruit, skim milk, 1 tbsp. olive oil, 1 scoop
vanilla protein powder (sweetens it up) and drink this while at work. works really well for me and what I am doing
health wise!
I ended up getting Spectracide Malathion as it was the only product available in our small town hardware store. It worked well and the trees recovered nicely. Thanks so much for the help, I greatly appreciate it!
I have 2 5 yo pecan trees are having the leaves eaten away be a blackish/white woolyworm looking insect. I cant find anything about it or how to get rid of them and they are only on the pecan trees.
Any help with how to rid of them would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks bodyflight! I have been thinking all winter about an alternative to the topsy turvy and always have dog food bags and never even would have thought about them used this way! How was the harvest?
that makes sense! You guys, or gals have beautiful gardens, I cant wait to start this project! Potatoes are one of the top 3 veggies my family eats and I would like to grow them as well!
