I bought a house on 6 acres with thousands of old Iris. They are everywhere! There is a large thick bed along part of my front fence. That area is probably 4 to 5 feet wide and about 40 feet long.....solid Iris....the tubers are visible on top of the ground.... Right now the leaves are...
