I'm impressed you found space to plant potatoes. Where did you get your potato "seeds"? I heard you need special potatoes because the ones at the grocery store are sprayed with a coating to keep them from growing eyes.
I live in a city and I'm taking the urban gardening approach. I'm trying to cram as many vegetables in a very small area. My backyard isn't very big, but it does get plenty of sunlight for gardening.
We have our raised beds on top of our grass. So I don't have to worry about covering the paths with rocks or anything cosmetic. I have a feeling it will cause my grass to discolor around the beds.
