I found it easier for weed control, it prevents rabbit traffic by making an obstructed view when they run, and we ran irrigation lines down each mounded row so I don't snag them with my foot.

you are not kidding me!! It's frustrating. Our primary goal is putting up enough veg. for our family for the year. I sell my surplus, and folks are fussy!! you can't have it both ways. Good tip on the soak- these darn bugs are in every layer of those sprouts. Thanks for the help!
