Here's a view of the top of the plant: It has these little growths on top of some of the top leaves.

That is the flower that I get on the mother plant to this plant. I see they typically bloom first, then start producing the babies and leaves. On this plant, I didn't see the flower before the leaves started growing on that shoot, which I find odd.

Ok! Thanks so much for the help! Would a five gallon bucket work? The apple tree is growing in between roots of a Hemlock tree. Would both trees be ok if any of their roots accidentally got damaged from me digging?
