I went outside and got distracted because I have the attention span of a gnat. I decided that I should put in the bed that I have been planning and it was so easy. I put down cardboard, wet in down, added a couple of inches of composted leaves, wet it down again. Then transplanted 2 yellow pear, 2 green grape tomatoes and some marjoram and dill plugs. Another quick water and it was done. Too easy. It is about 3'x8', no borders. As the tomatoes get bigger I will just add some more compost to build it up a bit.

I made a chicken wire bin one year. Put cardboard down, lots of leaves, manure and planted potatoes. Bumper crop!

Congrats on building a quick bed for your veggies!! Good job!
