I took a nose count of this year's witches and goblins that showed up at our door... 197 !!! :ep There was this 2 1/2 year old princess that came trick or treating with her 4 year old sister escorted by their dad. After I gave them their candy treat, she came into our house and told us " I stay here ". :) It took my wife , her dad and me a while to persuade her that it would be a better idea if she whent with her sister and dad to get more candy treats. She gave my wife and me a BIG HUG before she left. :celebrate

Wow, and we had ZERO little witches and goblins at our door. Haven't had one in 10 years....we don't live in the wilderness but just on a little road going up hill and we decided the little tykes don't want to walk up it....It's amazing for the first few years we bought the large chocolate bars to give them. Now we go to a friends neighborhood driveway party to enjoy the spookie critters.... It's fun...

A fair amount of leftover candy. I'm not sure if there are less kids each year. At least the neighbor kids came by, and a few who probably drive or walk by all the time, on their way to the nearby elementary school.

One little guy had a toy gun and had to shoot my Jack o'Lantern on walkway. I know that it wasn't my best effort but ...

DW wasn't too happy to open the door to a loud pop! even if the parent accompanying thought it was funny. His kid was lucky to get a treat after the trick came first. I was out and about for a short while and discovered that DW closed up shop early. But, by 8:30 all the little guys had passed Jack o'Lantern and claimed their treat.
