1st Fall Of Winter

Came home from work was dark out, pulled in my driveway. Got out of car took 2 steps when feet just slid out from under me. Landed hard on my butt, luckily it well padded. Gone are the days of just jumping right up after a fall. Now I check for broken bones before slowly climbing back up. I miss my old body. 2 years ago I bought cleats that strap on for my dad. He wanted nothing to do with them, I have no idea where I put them

I'm like you. I prefer to lay on the ground for a bit to see what and why and all that kinda stuff. Hubs wants to YANK me right up. NO, let me lay here and self check....

I'm the queen of falling. I'll be one of those statistics one day....

Watching a teevee reporter trying to get around at the Winter Olympics, this morning.

I thought - you gotta be sensible!

My problem would be finding light-weight boots but ... I really don't need boots, right? There are various kinds of athletic shoes with sensible tread. Olde people's winter shoes?
