1St Time No Neck Pain

For many years I have always had a bad neck. I have seen many Doctors and tied many different massages. I do not want to take daily muscle relaxer or pain killer, so have just lived with the pain. Some days are worst then others. Fri my neck was really acting up, I was sitting at my desk rubbing my neck when a client came in. I knew she was a massage therapist, but always judged her by looks. She is a very small very pretty woman I assumed she did more of a relaxing spa type massage. She offered to work on my neck. 1st surprise was how strong her hands where, second was how much pain she was casing me. I have been getting massages for over 30 years,and had some really deep tissue that where uncomfortable. Nothing like the pain she was giving me. Then she made me put my arms in very strange positions and stretch. Whole thing must of taken 5 mins tops. All my neck pain was gone !!!!! I kept thinking it would be back 2 days later I still feel good. She has a new client.

Have you ever tried chiropractic? Mine keeps my neck pain free,. Add that to your massage.

That must have been a very specific, targeted kind of massage. I am so happy for you getting relief from that pain. She may be your new best friend!

So glad it worked! Next time you see her tell her to put you on a waiting list. At least she will work on you once a month. I’m curious how long it will last. Keep us posted.

Sounds like a great deal. She massages you and your handlers massage her dogs.

NY, that's the kind of massage I do as well...not so much the relaxing Swedish massage, though that's great to finish up with, but for pain relief. It often hurts as it's done, but in a good way? But effective....VERY effective.

A chiropractor will have you coming back over and over, as that's how his money is made, but a good massage therapist who knows something about trigger points can give you lasting relief after one or two brief visits.
