Ok... so my question is this. My neighbor was so nice to give us one of his many grape vines. He had 7 total, 6 are concord and 1 was a Thompson Seedless. They decided to remove the seedless as they found another concord start and they prefer the concord for jams and juice. ALL the vines are already on year 5, but he's not had any fruit yet.
First, I'm concerned there is a problem.... but they all seem to have healthy growth? Anything I should look for?
Secondly, Our grape vine now has a nice thick 'trunk' going so I'm hoping it will take well.... but do you think from the transplant we shouldn't expect fruit for a couple more years or that it could fruit as soon as this year or next?
3rdly... I killed our vine last year... do you think I should just give up on grapes!?
