Well I have 54 tomatoes staked and 45 more to go. :D
These plants have been in the ground for about 2 weeks now and where around 1 inch tall when I got them planting and inch of that was barred in the ground leaving a 10 inch plant.

And I thought having 18 plants was alot! Ok, you beat me!

Nice work, Chris! You are way ahead of me - my toms are about 2 feet tall and I haven't even started staking yet. Guess I'd better get with it. You're making me look bad!!! haha

Holy tomatoes!!! I tore old pillow cases, to make my ties... not very pretty- but functional. Happy Gardening!

A tomato grower on this site or BYC I don't remember which used a system called "florida weave" for staking tomatoes, it looked really easy and effective for staking multiple tomatoes in a row like that.

I was using Wool Yarn, My wife spins so we had a ton of it around but it has been selling faster than she can spin it so that was nicked this year. I think I will be using balers twine. I have a mess of it in the barn off the straw and hay bails and I hate to have to buy twine to tie the tomatoes when that is in the barn. ( boy 35 years old and I'm as tight and frugal as my Dad )

Well after I get them all staked and tied I know a pile of aged (2 years now) goat manure with the tomatoes name on it. ;)
