7 Birthdays $$$$

I have 4 birthdays this week and 3 more next week. 4 are family members no getting around them. Buying gifts , wrapping paper, cards and sometimes dinner cost a lot. Have tonight and tomorrow night to pick up gifts, would be nice if finished all tonight. Going to be eating a lot of cake

Need some more Pickled asparagus? I'm pretty sure cake goes counter to the doctor's orders to shape up.

Around here the only family that rates a gift are parents and youngsters of school age. After that, I don't expect them to buy for me and don't do much more than a card or possibly a meal.

LOL love pickled asparagus !!! Found pickled green tomatoes at supermarket My family does that for Christmas gifts only for children. I had a hard time wth that at first but like it now.

Some people are just overly generous.

I try to share my time and talents rather than go for buying things.

Perhaps I am just cheap ... a trait I picked up from my part Scottish Spouse, (the part near his wallet) but the rest of the family really can't afford to be buying presents all the time and I try to set an example of restraint.
