since it was so popular at the seed swap i cooked up a page for it on its own. i will eventually rewrite it and pare it down some and add more pictures as i find them or take some new ones, but at least now if people come looking for information about what i gave them last weekend they have it. :)

What a heritage treasure you have! It's been grown in your area for 100 years. I love stories like that. I hope the people that you share the garlic with treasure it the way you do.

it reached 10x more people in those 5hrs than it had before in 15yrs... i actually made the mistake of not asking the family if i could use her name so i have to make sure of that this week to verify it is ok. i think it will be as i do know her family well enough to have done what i've already done. if it turns out ok i also gave some to a place that will grow it and spread it out a lot too as a part of what they do. seems like an ok outfit, but i also plan on keeping on giving it away as much as i can too. :) it is fun - it's why i garden besides growing good things for us to eat.

Maybe you could name it Manzoni Garlic. That should please her family. Or name it after the Uncle.
