Although I had to wade through ten inches of snow to do it I put some plants in the greenhouse today, as the temperature in there was eighty five degrees!! Could this be a sign that spring is on its way?

NICE!!! Is that temperature with supplimental heat?
No, the supplemental heat will not be turned on until I open the greenhouse. It will be set at forty five degrees and be on a timer also. I will bring the plants in when the sun starts to go down and put them back under the lights. This time of year I take advantage of the free heat and light provided by Mother Nature whenever I can.

I am hoping to get my greenhouse going tomorrow. As always, you are an inspiration, JackB! I saw some bulbs poking through today- so spring is near!

If you can see bulbs poking though you must have missed the last storm.

I hope you are an inspiration to Lesa, Jack. It was difficult to know if she made good use of that snazzy greenhouse she has. You know, ya gotta work 'em! Make that greenhouse jump!

Good Heavens, I'm enjoying that sunshine Thistle' talked about. I have forgiven the TV weather person for hyping the weekend. It may only be 50 but the sunshine is so nice and I'd like to curl up in the sun and take a nap . . .

Huh!!?

Our TV weather man predicted one inch of light fluffy snow. We got ten inches of heavy wet snow. I think they wasted their money on all of that technology. The ache in my knee predicted at least eight inches of snow.

85 degrees? that's hot! Did you sit in there in your shorts, with an ice tea and a book? ;)

My green lawn chair can be seen in the left corner. Yes, I will frequently bring my tablet and a cool drink to the greenhouse and enjoy the sunshine and warmth. Not everyone lives in a place like San Fransisco that has nice weather you know. ;)

Jackb, I wish our weather was 85 degrees like your greenhouse. But I guess I will have to settle for it being warm enough to sit in my garden with a book or just to contemplate.
