OH, well, live and learn.
At LEAST I have the 12 quarts of grapes and juice that I canned in 2010 bc I didn't have time to deal with them. There were STILL be jelly and maybe a little wine in my future.
The grapes are still alive. A few years back I pruned them wrong and had a minimal harvest. The next year was a bumper crop.

My spinach was fine.

My potatoes were covered after some damage early in April, and they will rebound.

One of my mums that I had JUST uncovered from the weeds had a little damage, but nothing significant.

The window-well "greenhouse" with my tomatoes did it's job. Every one of them is in tip-top conditon. No NEW photos, but this is about one week old.

Oh, that's so frustrating! :( It's so hard to have something die off when you've been watching it grow for months! On a good note, I really like your window well cold frame!!

Oh my gosh.... :hugs

We had 2 nights of frost too and I went crazy covering things. Luckily, nothing happened with the grapes because I totally forgot to cover those. I didn't realize they'd be so susceptible to frost.

I know you potatoes should recover fine, those are some strong willed spuds! I did find my spinach tasted pretty good after the frost came the other night, I think it actually benefited because it hasn't been cool enough until then for them. With all this warmth, my peas are hard and not sweet at all, so I think there is a reversal of which plants are doing and NOT doing well this year.

So I can't decide if the frost was all that bad.... kinda needed the cooler weather!?
