The annuals that I started in March have been planted in and around our property, and several varieties have flowered already. This small annual garden has four varieties of zinnia, two of cosmos, two of dahlia, three of marigold, two of calendula, two of daisy, and a few gazannias. All of the plants were started from seed, and grown hydroponically in the greenhouse, before being transplanted to soil. The cost of the seeds was minimal, as was the effort, but the satisfaction I get from growing my own plants is priceless. :)

Very nice, I went with perennials and selfstarting annuals (of which I pulled most out). Love the pump center piece, need to get something for my small flower garden.

My granddaughter, Ava, has it in her head to try to make weird colored flowers using food dye, so I have started a half dozen carnation seeds. I can't wait to see where this project goes.
