Yes, I plant some outdoors, but even though the seeds were started on the same day the outdoor plants are small with small green fruit. It does stretch out the harvest though, with early tomatoes and some coming later. Actually, I find no difference in taste, however, the greenhouse tomatoes ripen much more evenly than the garden tomatoes. The difference is most likely heat. Our spring in New York was miserable to say the least. Even on cloudy days the greenhouse is much warmer than outdoors.catjac1975 said:Jack- do you plant them outdoors too?
