I started 72 pepper seeds (marconi, mariachi, and northern king), about a hundred tomato seeds, with another 25 or so to start in a week, and countless flower seeds for Dew. I don't have much hope for the Impatiens, but what the heck...I might get lucky (git yer mind out of the gutter Bay:)).

Spring is coming!!!

Monty, I'll have you know that I keep my chin on the curb, so my mind is NEVER in the gutter! LOL Normally I would have all kinds of seed started, but haven't planted a thing. DH bought me 3 seed starter kits of 36 peat pots each, so tomorrow is peat pot day! In all the new house confusion I did manage to save seed from the red Marconi you sent me. They are on top of the heap, to be planted first! :)

I hope your marconis do well. They are very good. They also grow true from seed ;) Chin on the curb huh? I wasn't about to leave that "getting lucky" comment hanging out there

Still have snow on the ground here too. I started them indoors. I moved the maters out to the grow chamber this evening. I also have impatiens, snapdragons and peppers up today! :celebrate I can't believe the impatiens came up. I have the worst luck with them.
The grow chamber isn't ready yet, but the lights work and I'll bring the plants in at night until I get it ready this weekend. Everything came up too soon. I just planted the seeds on Saturday...5 days ago! I thought I would have at least through the weekend to get ready.
Maybe it's a sign of a good gardening season to come. :fl
