Last night at garden center I came across a berry bush I never heard of Haskap Borealis Lonicera Caerulea. I kept going back and forth about buying. Label said fertile soil with good drainage. My heavy clay is far from good draining , but some how plant was in my cart at check out. Any feed back on this berry ?

They are known as Haskap in Japan and Canada. For some reason in the USA they are called Honeyberry. I ordered some plants, but the darn catalogs ship "when it's time to plant" so I have no idea when they will get here. They are a member of the honeysuckle family. Dig a big hole, put sand in the bottom, plant the berry plant and fill in with compost.
