Chillin' In The Garden
So 2 years ago I was eating this great Clementine at the kitchen counter, were I had this potted plant that I had recently transplanted and looked a bit silly being the pot was too big. I really enjoyed the whole bag of Clementines so seeing all this 'real estate' around this potted plant I shoved the seeds into the soil. Got 2 takers! When they were about 4 inches I transplanted them to their own real estate and in about 6 months one died, it was always the weaker of the 2 and it just seems to not thrive. However the other one is going for it like mad, and now has sprouted a second stem, the first being about 3 feet high. I have him a support stick long time ago, and it appears to be a bush rather than a tree.
I'm in Canada so obvioulsy it needs to be a houseplant, but what else? Do they need pruning or anything? Will it need a partner to pollenate or can I do it with it's own pollen? Will I ever see fruit in the housepant mode? Anyone know? Cool looking plant anyway.
