no, but when i worked at a bank many years ago we had something similar to that to get in a couple of the doors. i've looked at them at big box store since then.

I live alone lots of times repairman need to get into my house. This seems like a good way if I can not be there.

i suppose as long as you set it to something only the repairman would use & then reset it back to something you would only use.

When I was a kid I stopped by my aunts house, she had a plumper working on kitchen sink. About 10 feet from him she set up a chair and was knitting. I asked her to do something and she said I can't I am watching the plumper. She must roll over in her grave when I have workmen in my empty house.

Haha, I'm like that! I don't like to have strangers in my house. I always stay in the same room or at least where I can see them. I don't trust anybody not to go wondering in my house to see what they can take.

I also make my neighbors aware if I'm having a repairman over.

I do not trust electricity.
Now I work at home repairman. If I'm lucky, he will finish the work after 2 weeks. He is left alone at home for half the day. In the house there is nothing too precious. But the word "problem" written by this guy on his forehead in big letters.

When I found my mother on a chair tring to clean ceiling fan, I told her I was getting a cleaning lady for her. She did not want a cleaning lady so told me " they steal" I said steal what? You bought nothing new since the 70's.
