Yeah, I was on there as a farmers' market contact person. . . . years after I wasn't!
I had to notify them twice and bring in a representative from the market & the state association of FM's to get my contact information OFF!
I just checked: No, I'm not still on there but the contact listed is for someone who no longer even sells at the market. Two of the other groups listed are out of business. One more has "evolved" into a grocery store. A public market on their list has been defunct for a good 4 or 5 years! The only that just could possibly be correct is a farm that I've never heard of . . .
Yeah, there's is only ONE locally that could have correct information!
V, maybe they do better in other parts of the country but that's pathetic.

I use the website fairly often. There is some old information on some of the local businesses, but mostly it is good. They seem to be updated fairly frequently. The CSA that I am a part of is on there with current information. It is the responsibility of the farm or business to update the information. I don't know if anyone around here has had any problem getting them to change things. I like it for the most part.
