if you downloaded last upgrade, apps that you have uninstalled are now in a folder drawing from your data plan. It also turned on every app on your phone. Plus IF your wifi is weak (according to Apple), they draw from your data plan.

To stop. Settings, Cellular, start turning off apps. Don't forget wifi sharing at bottom. As far as stopping uninstalled apps, working on that. Dang Apple. Can not trust those people at all.

I'm on 10.7.5 and I have to upgrade soon, because my Safari browser is outdated :( And I don't like FireFox. I'm not happy about upgrading though, quality and everything else haven't been the same since Steve Jobs' passing.

Interesting. 9.3.1 is out latest and greatest. Once Inturned off several apps that I don't use much and the ability for the IPad/iPhone to supplement wifi with data plan, my usage has been dramatically reduced.

I forgot to say I'm on a Macbook, not a phone/pad.

Sumi, did you hear about an Apple program to understand Windows that is no longer going to be supported by Apple. There is now a bigger risk of hackers getting into the Mac computers because there will be no new security programs written. It doesn't apply to me and mine, but you might want to check the story out.
