Something is eating my apple trees, eating the leaves and the fruit (as in the fruit is now GONE... they were just baby fruit, not really sizeable). I sprayed with Bug X and noticed a caterpillar that looked like a dead twig on it.

Would a Twig Caterpillar do that much damage? What can I spray them with that will do any kind of actual pest-ridding? Should I just continue to spray them with Bug X?

Obviously I'm not going to have any apples now this year, but I think whatever it is is seriously damaging the trees.
