Apricot blooms!

Here are some pictures of my apricot tree blooming. I spent a few days last week pollinating the blooms. I'm hoping for some apricots this year!

Looks good! Our apricot are also blooming now but we are at least six weeks away from the last frost, and then there are the developing fruit eating blackbirds to deal with.

I really pray that you get some fruit.

I see birds pick even at the blooms every now and again. I hanged a plastic shopping bag on the top of the tree, this way when the wind blows the bag will scare the birds away. If I do end up getting some apricots develop I'm going to cover the tree with netting to keep the squirrels and birds off.
