I have this Manchurian Apricot tree that bloomed this year but within a few days or so after the flowers bloomed they all just fell off the tree. I'm not sure why its not producing any fruit, it is a self pollinating apricot.

Thanks!

Also, were there any cold nights during the time it was flowering? Even if it did not frost at your house, or there was no frost by the time you woke up, is it possible that the blossoms got cold-damaged?

Patience, my friend! It takes a while to see the baby apricots.

My trees bloomed almost a month ago and the apricots are just getting big enough to see if you look really hard. Right now, they are almost the size of a pea.

I had an issue with an apricot... it was very finicky and then just died on me. They hate any low temps at all, they hate humidity and they hate strong winds. They are very fragile in spring.

I'm guessing it is either too young, or some random act of nature made it uncomfortable!

Did just the *petals* of the flowers fall off (in which case desertcat may be right, the fertilized-ovary-eventually-to-be-fruit may just be too small for you to notice yet) or did the *whole* flowers fall off (in which case you are right, you ain't gettin any fruit this year)?

Yes, the whole flower bud fell off not just the petals. I'm thinking their might of been a little frost in the area and thats what caused it not to produce. The apricot tree is at least 3 years old. Maybe fruit next year :fl .
