Asparagus Fern in Bloom

I do not think I have had an asparagus fern bloom before.

What type of asparagus is that?
I doesn't look like any I've ever grown!!!

So delicate; so pretty. I do think I have seen them flower before. I certainly know I've seen the fruit, so I must have seen the flowers as well. Dad had his grandmother's for a long as I could remember. I had hoped to get it when he passed, but no, Mom kept every plant until she was certain that she had killed them.
