Asparagus from seed

So, I also got Mary Washington asparagus seed in my gift pack for Christmas. Any tips on starting and maintaining asparagus seed?

I started over 30 plants from seed last winter. I used Jiffy pellets with about 3 seeds per pellet. Started inside, covered in trays. Once I got sprouts I opened covers and set them under grow lights until they were an average of 2".
At that point I moved them to larger containers until they were strong enough to go out into greenhouse.
When they reached about a foot in heighth I transplanted them into 10" clay pots and left them in the g/house. This spring I will transplant to garden.
They did grow to over 2' tall in those pots.

It sounds like a worth while project. Wished I had the room for growing some.
