Very pleased to find my little asparagus poking up out of the dirt! Since this is only their second year, still no eating them- but I'm glad they made it through the winter!
Asparagus survived!!!

Second year huh? Did you see any sprout this time last year?
I'm so concerned, mine still haven't come up?! My neighbor's has, and he's harvested some... but he's on his 4th or 5th year and he has a larger bed then I do.

It is pouring right now- I'll try to get pics before it gets dark. I planted these roots last year, around this time. So, they actually came up mid-summerish, did their fern thing until fall... Some of the stalks are super thin, and one of them looks really big. Weird- they weren't like that last year. Don't give up vfem- I thought for sure mine were dead last year. They pop up over night!
