And, sweets!

For the first time since Spring, I showered and put on sweatpants this morning. BTW, I hit that weight loss goal, bounced around on both sides of it for about a week, and decided I could do my little victory dance :D.

Now what?

DW just getting started on carrot cake ... My eating yesterday fit my usual off-season LIGHT diet. You know, start from first light and eat continuously, all day.

On @Larisa 's thread, I'm thinking, "what fruits can northern gardeners have this time of year?" My thoughts turned somewhat strangely to parsnips ...

My parsnips are so sweet! I learned last year to sauté them with carrots. So good!

I'm not finished with sweating in the garden. There's clean-up and a ton of dahlia roots to carry down to the basement. I'm enjoying the rest but plan on enjoying the time left to be outdoors :).

Hey!

;) Daily showers ... or, rain dance this month.

I took a first bath yesterday evening - instead of that shower - and used coconut oil, on the advice of the company that sells it. That's a reason why I showered this morning! I won't be using that oil again ... might have helped the skin but it didn't mix well in water and I thought I smelled weird, 8 hours later. Evening showers are a habit so I'll be back for a second round in the shower, soon.

Baths. I much prefer them but don't think they are very efficient. It's okay, I soon won't need much efficiency in daily life :). Have to get to the drug store for Aveeno bath treatment. It's a little like bathing in breakfast cereal but makes me more comfortable. Hey! I wonder how Malto-meal would be ... go well with my beer, don't you think?
