I was just wondering if you guys had seen the Wallstreet Journal article and video featuring the Gettle's. The video was particularly cool, getting a peek into their 100-year-old home and way of life. There's a picture slideshow too. I am particularly smitten with the attached 20' x 40' greenhouse they have built just off from their kitchen. Some day, if I could afford it, I would love to have something like that! My uncle in TX has one, but I don't think he keeps it up anymore since he's been sick. How cool would that be though?

Video/article here...

That was a very nice vodeo and article. I love a family success story, especially one about gardening. I love the Baker Creek website and look forward to the catalog each year. There are so many seeds to choose from and I have so little room..... ARRGHH!!! :barnie Thanks for posting. Their home and land is beautiful!

I so love Bakers Creek! I got a TON from them this year. :D

I really loved listening to the interview. It was a great to see.

Thanks for sharing that Journey. It's an impressive story to be sure! You have to wonder how many hours were spent alone in the garden to get to where they are now.

I think Jere Gettle is a real testimony to the power of following your passion in life. Nothing better than making your living doing what you truly love!
