I love a good bargain, last night I found a few. Home depot bare root fruit trees where half price, they had just come in so in good shape. I picked up a few sour cherries and a few different pears and a plum.I then went to kmart nephew birthday today, he goes thought tee shirts like crazy. Picked up a couple of fruit of the loom 5 packs, when they rang up at $3.65 a pack, I went back and picked up 10 packs for myself. I wear then gardening, sometimes they get so dirty they don't come clean in the wash. At 73 cents a tee I can throw away after a couple of wearings.

Does anyone else feel guilty when a purchase rings up at a ridiculously low price, and you let it go without pointing it out?
(Of course, last time I did that it took about 10 minutes of "price check" and running back to the rack, etc, and the low price stood firm. Don't know what is wrong with me. :barnie)

Don't come clean in the wash! Boy, aren't we prissy! What's wrong with a little honest stain? :plbb

I pick up most of my gardening clothes at the thrift shop where I volunteer. $2 for a pair of jeans and $0.50 for a tee shirt isn't too bad. I certainly wear them more than a couple of washings but I'm so cheap I repair broken bails on free buckets.

So Lucky, if I notice it I point it out, whether the price is high or low. I've been told I'm too honest for my own good by different people but I live my life by my standards, not someone else's.

This morning at breakfast, I received more change from my $20 than I should have. It cost me another 3 dollars to correct the mistake, but I couldn't have left without saying something. That's just me.

I like your bargain, @Nyboy. I wear T-shirts working at home all summer and that's a great price for them.

Good for you @Ridgerunner :) DH once bought a stainless steel meat grinder at Gander Mountain. The price rang up right but sign on product was WAY lower. When he pointed it out. They sold it to him for the lower price. (Then hurried off to fix the signage error!)

I too, will correct if the wrong change is given. But if something rings up lower, take it and run. Its all automated anyway.

That happened on cheese at Safeway - it seemed terribly low on their weekly em to me, so with great trepidation, I bought 3. They rang up at that waaay low price. The next day, Safeway sent out an em with a correction. Phoey! I shoulda bought more!

I have to run our gardening clothes through the wash 2-3 before they come clean. We need to wear light colors because of the sun, but I refuse to buy anything white anymore because after a couple of wearings it becomes dingy no matter what bleach or soap I use.
