Just to PO SC.

One thing that I have read about Terminator Technology that was not reported here is that if the life force in seeds is somehow turned-off by this technology and this get out into the natural world and becomes viral, this could shut down the plant life around the earth. It does not take rocket science to project what this means for continued life on this planet.

So what is wrong with getting riled up?‼ Is one just supposed to sit by, and do nothing? If you learn you or your family is in danger , or that someone is trying to hurt you .do you just look the other way?

I think some people do not understand what is to be human and that everyday one has to make choices.one is to capitulate because it is too hard to do anything or one can live life to its fullest.

Life is not the destination, life is the journey. That means everyday you can do a little something to make the world a better place. If I see a fire coming, I would try to warn my neighbors. I do not wait to see which way the wind is blowing and just think about saving myself.

Some of our elected officials have convinced us that we should be all quite and polite and that this country was built by the old pull- yerself up- by- yer- own-bootstraps mentality. That is a dead end for any civilization. Any infant can teach you different when it is born. It will fight and scream for every breath. :/

I am just so sad about our food. Grew some corn this year for us and a little for the chickens. Grew some field peas ditto. Thinking about some landrace wheat next year after reading an exteremly disturbing article about modern wheat. Yeah I get real riled up too and start feeling sick to my stomach.

I keep my riled up ness to myself and feed my family meat and veggies grown at home. Granted, a portion of their feed is from GMO corn but I try to keep that to a minumum and give them as much free range on the farm as possible.

I would think that putting ones efforts towards ending a problem would be more constructive than posting a link to PO another member of this board.

If you truly want to help the world food situation why not put your efforts towards that end instead of being negative to another member of this community?

If Monsanto competed fairly I would have no problems with them but they sabotage even the smallest competition using every dirty trick in the book and even inventing new ones. In Mexico they not only contaminated native corn with GMO pollen but came up with a modification that turns the native corn ears into inedible monsters.
They engineer or bribe the politicians into passing laws that favor them like the one that forbids any company to put "contains no GMO products" on their labels.
