Ok, photo dump!

Where I parked.

Where parking lot bus let me out and where I returned to for them to pick me up. These may be the most important pictures from the whole trip. LOL

Now the fun stuff! We went to the Hollywood Universal park, first stop, STAR WARS!

A robot explaining to us that we were members of the Resistance and going to battle!

My son in law was the driver. This was a fun ride! We went straight up, straight down, bumpy ride, FUN!

We got shot at

On this ride we stood in one of those perpetual lines. Finally!

We were shut up in a room where this creature welcomed us as new recruits for the resistance. So cool!

On this ride we were captured, then rescued by the Resistance, shot at, bombed, almost captured again, and snuck past these guys to make our escape!

We also rode the 3rd ride, but I didn’t get any pictures of that.

Toy Story. Much tamer than Star Wars.

Good ride for kids, little, big and Mamaw’s.

The green Army men from Toy Story came marching through, beating drums and making a lot of noise. They were led by security in front and security in the back.

Note the roller coaster in the background. The family wanted to ride it. I hate roller coasters. Refuse to ride them. DD conned me, saying it’s for little kids. It was Slinky Dog from the movie, it’s for kids, how bad could it be? DSIL also hates roller coasters and he rode too. It didn’t take long and I was screaming OH SH! T over and over. DD said young couple in front of them was screaming OH NO! We got off the ride and I yelled at DD. YOU LIED TO ME! YOU LIED TO ME! You said this was for LITTLE KIDS! YOU LIED TO ME!!! This made the young couple bust out laughing.

The grounds are immaculate. Clean, clean and clean. Sweepers everywhere, staying out of the way, but obsessively sweeping up every scrap of anything they can find. Somebody dropped a bag of popcorn and three sweepers we’re scrambling to get it all swept up.
Lush greenery everywhere you look. The walkways are lined with trees, bushes and vines of every description. It’s Florida. Anything grows there. I’m sure in season there are flowers everywhere too. It’s beautiful and I’m sure the shade helps in the summer.

Indiana Jones stunt people showed us how they did their movie stunts. They used 3 different sets and rolled them back out of the way.

It was a good show. The line was short and we got to sit down. Win-Win.

The Magic Kingdom.
The little girls had on their Elsa costumes from the movie Frozen. DG1 wore a Stitch costume from the movie LILO and Stitch.

We watched a show of characters from animated movies.

The Elsa character spotted the little girls and blew them kisses.

Buzz Lightyear.

Dumbo ride.

A mosaic of tiny pieces of tile that created a beautiful piece down to the tiniest detail.

The parade! Stop everything, get a good spot and watch the pagentry of the parade!

Security roped everything off and kept people behind the ropes.

Here come the floats! Every had Security in front and in back.

More parade! Nothing more boring than looking at somebody else’s vacation photos!

And here comes a detail, taking up the posts and ropes to allow people to freely move about again.

We left the park around 2PM, went and had a late lunch-early supper, back to Air B&B house for a nap, then back to the park. DD got us a 4 bedroom 4 bath big roomy house with the 2 car garage as a game room full of stuff like a pool table and other things to play.

A swimming pool with the screen house that every pool in Florida has to keep the hordes of mosquitoes from sucking people dry. It was too cold to play in the pool, we were too tired anyway. LOL

A 2500 square foot home in a nice neighborhood where homes sell for 550 thousand and up. A couple bought it to retire to, in the meantime they have a management company renting it out. 6 nights cost $750. DD said about the same as a couple of cramped hotel rooms.

We went back to the park and took a ferry from the parking lot to the park. Security to go through, then scan card and fingerprint to get in.

We rode some rides, then got a place to stand for the fireworks show.

We rode some more rides and called it a night.

Next day, we took a day to slouch around and not do much. We went to a few off site Disney souvenir shops. I bought a Mickey Mouse mug for $8, half price from being in the park. We needed that day of rest!
