I can't believe the numbers of beans I have been getting this year. I planted green and yellow bush beans, and although slow to start, they sure have been producing.
Just yesterday we harvested 10 lbs of greens, and 14 lbs of yellow, and we had already been picking them almost daily for the last several weeks. My gate sales are not keeping up, so I might be off to the local farmers market again this Sunday. Fortunately I have a local restaurant that takes several pounds a week as well, or my fridge would be packed with nothing but beans.
The music from these beans is when the cash register rings!
