Beer as fertilizer?

We were unsuccessful again at beer-making, so we have about 5 gallons of flat, partially fermented beer. Any ideas if this would be good to pour over my crops? Since it's just grains, water & a little yeast, it doesn't seem like it will hurt, but I figured I'd ask.

Sorry about your beer-making, are you going to try another batch?

I don't think it will hurt the garden, i say add it.

Or use it for baiting slugs, pour it in a shallow dish and watch the carnage
