Borage

Thinking of planting some Borage as a pest deterant around my tomatoes and squash. Has anyone grown this? I usually plant marigolds, but I've read so many good things (and even read it pumps up tomato flavor).

Growing borage for the first time.....supposed to be a "super" pollinator attractant.

I grew it last year--very pretty blue flowers. You'll like it.
Don't think mine came back this year, though...

I grew it in my perennial garden last year and planted seeds in my strawberry and tomato beds this year.
Its very easy to get going from direct sowing seeds.

I don't see any signs of mine reseeding themselves, either. I am still hoping. I really enjoyed having them- and the bees love them!
