I received those pics a few weeks ago in an email. The artwork is cool isn't it? Those tall, round stacks look kind of dangerous to me. There's a person bending over at the base of one - hmmm not me.
The big stacks that look like hornet's nests (where the lady is standing - oops I mean where catjac1975 is standing) have some kind of growth near the tops toward the right. The shadow of the lady indicates that the areas where the growth is would be shaded all day so maybe it's some kind of fungus.

None of them are ours-they are beautiful but I would never be that bored. I would guess they each take an army to accomplish. Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did. I'm just glad to get them stacked and under a tarp! And yes one of my original daylilies. Took me a bit to find the place to add an avatar!
