I double checked when you asked! It's early. Says 2013 fall planted, 2014 spring flowering. At my mailbox where postal thieves abound, that'd be the kind of thing that can happen around here! Myself, I think the postal system should do a sting operation up here! Things disappear or never arrive sometimes. Actually, it has gotten better in the last year.

Can you put a lock on your mailbox that the mail carrier has the key to?

I can check on that, but I'd still have to have it built in reinforced concrete, steel lined...

marshall once you get that mailbox concreted in, get a digital padlock that only you & the post office have. that way, no keys to lose or keep up with.

I lost 4 mailboxes in 10 years. Kids drive by and knock them down with baseball bats.

I've gotten to where I have stuff delivered to my work address because of the little thugging thieves. I just got word though someone was sending me a box of plants (ones I have been looking for like 'totally tempted' cuphea, etc.) and I'm going to have to ask my neighbor to please look over and if there is a box to put it on my back deck. I wish the thieves hands would just rot off. If they'd start chopping their hands off maybe more people wouldn't be stealing. LOL
