Garden Master
I've gotta try something for my digitS'. I mean, something other than a life of Riley, gloves if'n I even see a tool, and nail polish.
One thumbnail breaks (splits) on a regular basis for about the last 4 or 5 years. Now, a finger is joining it with this problem. There is little excuse in November.
I remember that Mom returned to drinking milk when broken nails became a problem. She had joined lactose-intolerant Dad by not buying milk. She changed her habits and claimed it made a lot of difference.
I probably carry too many of the wrong, paternal genes. I still eat cheese and yogurt, figuring the bacterial cultures take care of some of that lactose, changing it to lactic acid. DW must think I should always have yogurt because she never lets me run out ... of her favorite brand . Maybe, I'll just add to that, and subtract more often from that supply .
Well, skimmed milk has about 8 grams of milk protein (might be what I need). Low fat yogurt has 11 - 13 grams! Greek yogurt has 18 grams of protein! Yay! I don't suppose that a teaspoon of apricot jam is gonna decrease that too much, right?
Excuse me. I gotta find the polish and do my nails ...
