Pray tell, what does bean pie taste like? I can see it as either an ingredient in a dessert or in a savory pie dish, but haven't seen nor heard of it before digit'S brought it up.

Tell us a bit about your gardening experiences as well. We are a (little) nosy bunch.

Really, I wasn't looking at GHOrganic's very different recipes. I was looking for what they have to say about @majorcatfish 's pest, the cucumber beetle.

I've heard of bean pie but I don't think I ever had any. My aunt used to make soda cracker pie and believe it or not you could hardly tell it from apple pie. I have no idea what the recipe called for other than soda crackers. I'm guessing cider.
