Can anyone identify this pesky weed?

Hi all, we are new to this forum, and located in Southeastern PA. This little nasty has suddenly taken over both our gardens and our lawn this spring. We recognize it from previous years, but it was never so bountiful. Perhaps the overly dry and early spring in our region has given it extra kick this year:

Any info would be greatly appreciated, as well as any insight as to how to control it. When you pull/disturb it, it just launches seeds in droves.

Yup, bittercress. We have it growing all over, but I leave it, just pull it from my flower gardens. I like it because it is one of the first things to flower, even if they are tiny little things.
