I have a Tomatillo i my garden and it is doing ok, lots of fruit but the fruit does not seem to be growing properly...not filling out the husks as it should. Also my plant is a bit yellowy...wondering if I am not caring for it correctly. I keep the soil pretty evenly moist and the plant routinely is dropping young immature fruit.
Help?

Although they are not particularly too heavy of a feed they do enjoy nice fertile soil. The yellowing of the plant may be a nitrogen deficiency. I'd recommend top dressing with a compost to move them on there way. Prolonged periods of high heat can cause flowers and fruits to drop and not set (just like tomatoes) so this may be the problem.

Tomatillos form the husk first and then the fruit fills out. Give it time. Soon you'll have more tomatillos then you can handle.
