Can you plant the same herb......

in the same pot that you did last year...or should the pots be "rotated" like the veggies in the garden?

Hi Boggy b,

I can't see why not as most herbs like a poor soil but I might add a little fresh soil for parsely, chives & basil as I tend to use those most so they need to regrow faster. Most of my herbs stay in thesame pot for years, overwintering outside or with minimal winter cover. However this last winter looks as if it has seen off a lot of plants, but you never know they might just shoot from the roots.....?

Our Spring is still in peril -- a forecast of cold weather & the possibilty of more snow mid-week.......

I agree with Hattie! I've never thought twice about herbs since they are not picky.
