Has anyone in this group grown the orange-yellow type of cauliflower known as 'Cheddar Cauliflower?' If so, how did it do for you in your garden?

I need some right now for a recipe I want to try and I can't find it in the stores? Have you seen it in any grocery stores lately? If so, would you let me know who is carrying it?

Also, if you wouldn't mind voting for my recipe with garden vegetables in it below, I sure would appreciate it, as I need your help! I'm trying to win a trip for a friend who is in need of cheering up:

From what I've been told it is the SAME as the white... and when you cook it, it loses it's taste. So I haven't bothered to try it in my garden since the seed costs slightly more. :/

I read a Blog that says the purple cauliflower is highest in flavenoids, and the yellow is highest in carotene.

I grew it one year and got nice heads, but shortly before they were ready to pick, they were all wiped out by black rot...so I can't say what it tastes like! :P

Oh, so sorry, Journey! I'll bet that was heartbreaking! I have found it at my grocery stores in this area after making some phone calls, so that is good.
