these devastating tornadoes have been so close lately. last night the weather was just freaky. I closed up their coop & wished them luck, not knowing if the coop would still be there in the morning. it makes me think of all these people and their livestock. dealing with terribly wounded animals, animals without water or shelter. dead animals with no way to quickly dispose of them. all of it is just terrible. :(

It is so sad. My Horse Forum friends all survived, but know people who perished. At least 100 horses are dead, and other livestock, too. They are organizing to find temporary homes for the livestock. Glad your chickens made it. Some coops look like they would just fly away in a tornado. :ep

This is a true tragedy. In watching video clip (thanks Steve) seems TV has to add to it. Reporter talking to lady about it. Lady says dog is gone, lost, low and behold, lift up a piece of wreckage, there is dog. I won't mention emotions I thought. May have to email CBS.

Just report the news, don't turn it into melodrama as it takes away from the real grief they are faced with.
